Dawn Patrice Davis Arceneaux is not only a skilled and experienced nurse practitioner but also a passionate patient advocate who consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of those in her care. With 29 years in the nursing profession, she has built a reputation for her compassion, attentiveness, and dedication to patient-centered care.

From the beginning of her career as an LPN in 1996, with an LPN from T. Harris Technical College, they went on to earn an associate degree, a bachelor’s degree, and a master’s degree in nursing with a specialty in Adult Nurse Practitioner in 2007. Most recently, she furthered their expertise by obtaining a post-master’s certificate as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Carson Newman University in 2023.

She has continuously pursued excellence. Her extensive background in emergency and critical care, including roles as an ED Charge Nurse, ICU Travel Nurse, and Administrative House Supervisor, highlights her ability to manage high-acuity cases with precision and compassion. She has provided life-saving interventions, guided teams through complex situations, and ensured that patient care remains the top priority in every environment she has worked in.

Her advocacy is rooted in her deep understanding of patient rights, healthcare accessibility, and the importance of clear communication. She takes the time to educate her patients, empowering them with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. Dawn ensures that every patient receives individualized, evidence-based care while also considering their unique cultural, emotional, and financial needs.

As a House Supervisor in Crowley and a Nurse Practitioner at BeLuxxe Health & Wellness, Dawn actively bridges the gap between patients, healthcare teams, and administrative policies, making sure that each patient receives the highest quality of care. She is a strong voice for those who may feel unheard, advocating for timely interventions, appropriate treatments, and compassionate, holistic care.

Her role as an instructor in CPR, ACLS, BLS, and PALS further highlights her commitment to patient safety and advocacy. By training healthcare professionals and community members in lifesaving techniques, she ensures that more people are equipped to respond effectively in emergencies.
